Terms and Conditions – Tenant Lease Application
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") carefully before submitting your Tenant Lease Application ("Application") for the residential apartment. This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions that govern your use of the Application and outlines the responsibilities and obligations of both the applicant ("Applicant" or "You") and the landlord or property management company ("Landlord" or "We" or "Us").
Application Process:
1.1 By submitting the Application, you acknowledge that you are applying to become a tenant in the specified residential apartment.
1.2 The Application must be completed in full and provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself, including your name, contact details, employment information, references, and any other information requested by the Landlord.
1.3 We reserve the right to verify the information provided in the Application through background checks, credit checks, employment verification, and any other means deemed necessary.
1.4 Submission of the Application does not guarantee approval or acceptance as a tenant. We have the sole discretion to accept or reject any Application.
Application Fees:
2.1 The Application may require the payment of a non-refundable application fee. The fee amount will be clearly stated in the Application process.
2.2 The application fee covers administrative costs associated with processing the Application and conducting background checks. It does not guarantee acceptance or reservation of the residential apartment.
Background Checks:
3.1 By submitting the Application, you authorize the Landlord to conduct background checks, including but not limited to credit checks, criminal history checks, and employment verification.
3.2 The results of the background checks will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating your eligibility as a tenant.
3.3 We will handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be found on our website or will be provided upon request.
Approval and Lease Agreement:
4.1 If your Application is approved, we will notify you within a reasonable timeframe.
4.2 Approval of the Application does not constitute a lease agreement. A separate lease agreement will be required, which will outline the terms and conditions of the tenancy.
4.3 The terms and conditions of the lease agreement, including rent, security deposit, duration of lease, and any additional clauses, will be negotiated separately.
Rejection of Application:
5.1 If your Application is rejected, we will notify you within a reasonable timeframe.
5.2 We are not obligated to provide reasons for rejecting the Application.
Application Withdrawal:
6.1 You may withdraw your Application at any time by providing written notice to the Landlord.
6.2 Application withdrawal does not entitle you to a refund of any application fees paid.
Accuracy of Information:
7.1 You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided in the Application is accurate and up to date.
7.2 If any information provided in the Application is found to be false or misleading, it may result in the rejection of the Application or termination of the lease agreement, if already signed.
Communication:
8.1 All communication regarding the Application will be conducted via the contact details provided by you in the Application.
8.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that the provided contact details are accurate and that you promptly respond to any communication from the Landlord.
Governing Law:
9.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the residential apartment is located.
By submitting the Tenant Lease Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
